Paws4Travels

Booking terms

Last updated 12 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Paws4Travels is a trading name of Park4Travels Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16762547. Registered office: 20 to 22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Contact: hello@paws4travels.co.uk.

2. What we do: we are a booking agent

2.1 Paws4Travels lists and sells stays at boarding kennels and catteries (“kennels”). We do not own or run any kennel or cattery and we do not look after animals.

2.2 When you book, we act as the kennel's agent. Your contract for your pet's stay is made directly with the kennel named on your booking, on these terms and the kennel's own house rules (for example drop-off times and vaccination requirements), which are shown on the listing and your confirmation.

2.3 The kennel is responsible for the care of your pet, for holding the council licence required to board animals, and for its own insurance. Every kennel that takes bookings through us has confirmed it holds a current licence, and we check this against the council's public register.

2.4 Kennels pay us a commission on bookings. The commission is included in the price you see; it is never added on top.

3. Prices and payment

3.1 The price shown before you pay is the total price for the stay, for the pets and dates you entered, including any peak-season pricing. There is no booking fee and no card surcharge.

3.2 You pay the full price when you book. We take payment as the kennel's agent, so paying us settles what you owe the kennel for the stay. Do not pay the kennel again. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as PARK4TRAVELS* PAWS.

3.3 Extras the kennel offers that you arrange directly with it on the day (for example grooming) are between you and the kennel.

4. Your booking

4.1 Your booking is confirmed when payment succeeds and we send your confirmation email.

4.2 You must give accurate details about your pets, including any medical, behavioural or dietary needs. A kennel may refuse a pet on arrival if it does not meet the kennel's published requirements (for example missing vaccinations, or a pet that is not as described). In that case the refund you receive is decided by the cancellation policy as though you had cancelled on the day.

4.3 Drop off and collect within the kennel's opening hours. Late collection may be charged by the kennel at its published nightly rate.

5. Cancellations and refunds

5.1 Each kennel chooses one of these policies, which is shown on the listing and on the payment page before you pay:

5.2 To cancel, email hello@paws4travels.co.uk with your booking reference. The time we receive your email is the time of cancellation. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days.

5.3 If the kennel cancels or cannot provide the stay, you get a full refund. We will also try to find you a place at another licensed kennel.

5.4 To change dates, contact us. Changes depend on availability and any price difference is charged or refunded.

6. If something goes wrong

6.1 Tell the kennel straight away during the stay, and email us with your booking reference. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days. Complaints about care at the kennel are passed to the kennel and we follow them up to a response.

6.2 The kennel is responsible for the care of your pet. Our responsibility is to take and pass on your booking correctly, process your payment and refunds, and give you accurate information. If we fail to do those things, we are responsible for loss that was a foreseeable result of our failure.

6.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer law.

6.4 Neither we nor the kennel are responsible for failing to perform because of events outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, fire, flood or a government restriction. If a stay cannot go ahead for that reason, you get a full refund.

7. Listings

Licence details on listings come from public council registers. Kennels marked “not bookable online yet” have not joined Paws4Travels; we show them so you can see the licensed options in an area, but we have no arrangement with them.

8. Your data

We share your booking details with the kennel you book so it can look after your pet. See our privacy notice.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
