What we collect
- Bookings: your name, email, phone number, your pets' names, breeds, sizes, ages and care notes, your dates and anything you tell us.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep the payment reference and amount.
- Kennel partners: business and contact details, portal login details, and activity in the partner portal.
- Security logs: IP address and pages requested, kept for up to 30 days.
Why, and our lawful basis
- To make and manage your booking, take payment and send confirmations: contract.
- To keep records for tax and accounting: legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure: legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
- The kennel you book, so it can look after your pet. It becomes an independent controller of that data.
- Stripe (payments), Namecheap (email hosting) and Hetzner (server hosting, in Germany), as our processors.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked to receive them.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records: 6 years after the stay (tax law). Partner accounts: while the partnership lasts and 6 years after.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy, by emailing us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Kennel listings
Listing details for kennels and catteries come from public council licence registers. Operators can ask us to correct or remove a listing at any time.
