How it works
1. Search your postcode or town
We show licensed kennels and catteries near you, nearest first, with the total price for your pets and dates.
2. Check the licence and rating
In England, councils license boarding under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 and give a star rating from 1 to 5 after inspection. In Scotland boarding is licensed by the council too, without star ratings. We take licence details from the councils' public registers and link to the source on every listing.
3. Book and pay
Pick a kennel, add your pets' details and pay securely by card. Your booking is confirmed straight away, with the address, drop-off times and what to bring.
4. Drop off and fly
Take your pet to the kennel on the day. You've already paid, so there's nothing to settle at the door.
Who looks after my pet?
The kennel or cattery. It holds the council licence and its own insurance, and your contract for the stay is with it. Paws4Travels is the booking agent: we list kennels, take your booking and payment, and handle changes, cancellations and refunds. See our booking terms.
